Training Options - WORC Financial Education Online Course
At this site, you can take a financial education online course that will teach you how to achieve lifelong goals. You'll learn about taxes, home purchasing, saving for college, retirement accounts, insurance, and business ownership financing. Counselors and Financial planning experts have contributed to the presentations and offer advice about saving money, how to stretch small budgets, how to purchase assets like a home, a retirement account or a small business expense.
Once you have signed up for the Financial Education online course, you will be able to contact a counselor and share information with other people trying to build a financial future. In some cases, you will be able to participate in teleconferences with others working on course topics that are of interest to you. Some organizations sponsor group programs that provide a number of people with a chance to take the course together at a learning center. You will be given information about these opportunities if and when you choose to register for training. You can register for our financial education online course by filling out the application.
The course can be taken by people who are not enrolled in a Family Savings or Individual Development Account if they pay a tuition fee. Satisfactory completion of the program occurs after 4 of the 7 classes presented are successfully finished. Certificates of completion are awarded at that time.
